Baluchi embroidery

Baluchi embroidery (Suchen Doch) is a collection of special types of needlework
made by Baluch women and it was created for the first time from the mind and
creativity of Baluch women. Baluchi needlework has a seal of authenticity from
UNESCO and is registered in the list of spiritual heritage of Iran. One of the
Iranian traditional industries that is very beautiful and dreamy in its own right,
and with the utmost beauty and silk that has been dyed with natural fixed color
without change which you can enjoy. An important feature of Baloch embroidery
is the geometric nature of the designs, elegance and type of sewing in comparison
to other types of horizontal embroidery, by counting the warp and weft of the
fabric, it can be said that needlework has a direct relationship with the silk
production industry and historical evidences which were shown in the past. What
inspires the embroidery craftswomen is what they see and hear, and what they
wish for. Silkworm breeding was common in Sistan and Balochistan and the silk
trade had a great market. Epic stories, which show the militant and warlike spirit
of the Baloch, find their best manifestation in sharp and angular forms and happy
warm red colors.in other words, main patterns of the designs are rooted in their
minds. In search of their ideal embellishments, Baloch craftswomen artists create
their desired designs by putting together countless simple and elementary visual
elements such as squares, triangles and rhombuses. It may not be possible to
provide an accurate account of the history of needlework, but geometric shapes
similar to Baloch needlework can be found in prehistoric lithographs and pottery.
In fact, Baloch artists express their desires and aspirations by presenting designs,
patterns, environment, society, beliefs and behaviors. It has prehistoric
lithographs, and the very antiquity of needlework (Suchen Doch) has increased
the charm and prestige of this mysterious art. According to some researchers, the
purchase of Baloch women needlework and handicrafts in world markets has
been and is at an acceptable level. France is in the first place with the most
purchases, Germany is in the second place, the United States is in the third place
and Japan, Switzerland, England and Italy are in the next ranks of buying Baluch
embroidery products.
This needlework is so valuable and glorious that in the 2500th anniversary
celebrations of the Iranian Empire, which was held from October 12 to 16, 1971,
equivalent to Tuesday, October 11 to Saturday, October 15, 1350 in Persepolis.
It was hand-embroidered by Baluch women. Which is now available in different
museums accessible in Iran
